BIOGRAPHY
Robert A. Henke was born in New York on 5 Jul 1923. The census records show his families Home in 1940: Greenburgh, Westchester. Robert enlisted and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

ROBERT HENKE
Robert A. Henke, 32, a veteran of World War II, died Sunday morning in the Veterans Hospital at Albany, N. Y., after an illness of several months.
He was a former resident of Rye and attended Rye Schools, Genesee Wesleyan and Clemson College in South Carolina. He was a member of the Argyle Unitarian Presbyterian Church, Argyle Post 1518 of the American Legion and was President of the Argyle Central PTA.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Kilmer Funeral House with the Rev. William Muir, pastor of the Argyle Unitarian Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, Eleanor Yarter Henke; two sons, Robert A., Jr., and Guy W.; two daughters, Roxanne A. and Gale L. all of the home address, his mother, Mrs. George Magner of Rye, and father, Hubert Henke of New York City; two sisters Mrs. Robert O'Keefe and Miss Carol Magner, and a nephew, Scott O'Keefe all of Rye.
